Arrest made in Brookhaven break-in

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. – Authorities say there's no evidence that a break-in at a politician's campaign office a day before a hotly-contested election was politically motivated.

The theft happened in Brookhaven, where four candidates are vying for Georgia House of Representatives District 80 position.

Brookhaven Police say the suspect used spray paint to draw symbols and other things inside the Nuts and Berries store on Peachtree Road, on the flower shop next door and inside Catherine Bernard's campaign office.

Solomon Danziger, 34, is charged with breaking into the office and the health store. Police don't believe Danziger had any reason to target Bernard.

Investigators say they were in process of getting arrest warrants when Danzinger returned to the store wearing clothes covered in spray paint.
