Brookhaven Police looking for armed robber | News

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. -- Police are looking for the public's help to identify an armed robbery suspect in a surveillance video from a Peachtree Road Subway store Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the white male entered the Subway store located at 3929 Peachtree Road at about 4 p.m., Tuesday demanding money The suspect was armed with a black handgun.

The suspect was described as 5-feet-10-inches to 6 feet tall, with a slim build, and wearing a dark-colored hoodie with the word "HEAVENLY" across the chest. There was white lettering down the left sleeve of the sweatshirt that appeared to also read "HEAVENLY." Investigators said the suspect left the store on foot, headed toward Colonial Drive. They said they believe the suspect fled south along the railroad tracks paralleling Peachtree Road toward the Atlanta city limits.
